Monetization
Targetly allows you to monetize your MCP servers effortlessly. By deploying your tools to the Targetly Marketplace, you can earn credits or revenue whenever other users or agents utilize your endpoints.
How it Works
The traditional way to monetize an API involves building:
- Authentication & API Key management
- Usage tracking & metering
- Billing & invoicing systems
- Rate limiting infrastructure
Targetly handles all of this for you.
When you deploy a server to the Targetly Marketplace, it automatically becomes a paid endpoint if you choose to enable monetization.
1. Zero Configuration
You don't need to change a single line of code in your MCP server. Targetly acts as a gateway that sits in front of your tool.
2. Usage Tracking
We track every JSON-RPC request and response size.
3. Payouts
You earn credits for every successful tool call made to your server by other users. These credits can be used to pay for your own hosting or withdrawn (coming soon).
Enabling Monetization
Currently, monetization is in Beta.
To enable it for your deployed tool:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Select your deployment
- Navigate to the Settings tab
- Toggle "Enable Marketplace Listing"
Earnings Model
Our current verified creator program offers a revenue share based on compute volume.
